The Motor Credit Check tool provides an indication of how likely customers are to be accepted for their chosen vehicle finance.
The service, powered by Experian, indicates a customer’s credit profile. The better their credit score, the more choices they have when applying for car finance. A Motor Credit Check will not affect their credit rating.
The online-based tool uses a simple, responsive form that can be completed on any device. It handles complex cross-field validation and saves data one field at a time– retailers receive notifications when a lead is created, even if the customer does not complete the application.
Lenders use credit searches to determine how much credit the customer already has and whether they have made diligent repayments. The information on the credit report won’t determine a lender’s final decision (each lender has their own criteria and decision-making processes), but it may inform their decision to a degree.
