Add a single vehicle to your Inventory portal by entering the vehicle's details manually or using a VRM lookup to pre-fill the form.
Before you begin
You need access to your organisation's Inventory portal. If you cannot see Inventory in the app switcher, contact your Codeweavers account manager.
Navigating to Vehicle Management
Switch to the Inventory app using the app switcher at the top of the navigation panel in any Codeweavers portal.
Once in Inventory, the dashboard banner gives you two options — Add a vehicle and Import stock.
Creating a vehicle record
- Click Add a vehicle on the dashboard banner. You are taken to the Vehicle Management page.
- On the Vehicle Management page, click Create to open the new vehicle panel.
- In the Create a vehicle panel, select your organisation from the Organisation dropdown.
- Select the vehicle's status from the Vehicle status dropdown: Preowned, Pre-registered, Demonstrator, or New.
Entering vehicle details
- Enter the vehicle's VRM in the VRM field.
- Click Look up. Codeweavers will pre-fill as many fields as possible from the lookup result.
- Review the pre-filled details and correct anything that does not match the vehicle.
- Complete any remaining fields, including Mileage, Website link, Stock ID, and On-the-road price.
- If the vehicle is franchise approved, tick the Franchise approved checkbox.
Saving the vehicle
- Review all the details you have entered.
- Click Save to add the vehicle to your inventory. The vehicle will appear in the Vehicle Management list.
Screenshots show example data. Your portal will look the same with your own organisation's vehicles and settings.
