The Codeweavers platform does not support in-place role changes. To change a user's role, a Dealer Administrator removes the user and re-invites them with the correct role.
Before you start
You need the Dealer Administrator role to change another user's role. You will also need the user's email address to re-invite them.
How to change a user's role
- Remove the user. Follow the steps in Removing a user. Removal is immediate and cannot be undone.
- Re-invite them with the correct role. Follow the steps in Inviting a new user, selecting the role you want the user to have.
The user will receive a new invitation email and must accept it to regain access to the platform. Once they have accepted, they will be active under their new role.
