Editing campaigns

This article explains how to edit campaign terms in LenderHub, covering product rules and rule groups.

To edit a term, select the Edit link on the campaign card, or select anywhere on the card. This takes you to the Campaign Terms page. Locate the term you want to edit and select Edit term.

Product Rules

Product rules apply to all financial calculations involving that product, unless overridden by a rule group.

To amend a product rule, select Edit these rules in the product page.

On the product page, you can:

• Add, modify, or delete conditions.
• Add, modify, or delete actions.
• Toggle a product rule inactive.

Rule Groups

A rule group applies only to the term for which it was created and can override the product rule where conditions match.

For example, if an HP product rule states: if the Vehicle Terminal Age is 120 and the Finance Term is between 24 and 60, then the Customer Deposit should be 30% — and a rule group states: if the Vehicle Terminal Age is 60 and the Finance Term is between 12 and 48, then the Customer Deposit should be between 20%–60% — the rule group overrides the product rule for that term.

Think of it like a house with central heating and adjustable radiators. The heating is the product rule — it applies everywhere. The radiators are the rule groups — they let you fine-tune the temperature per room. Rule groups are like radiators, and terms are the rooms they regulate.

When you create multiple rule groups, LenderHub assigns priority automatically — the first rule group created is assigned priority 1. You can reorder rule groups using the arrowheads to adjust which rule takes precedence.

Actions available for rule groups:

• Select Create a new group to add a rule group and define its conditions and actions.
• Select Duplicate group to copy a rule group and amend it.
• Toggle a rule group active or inactive, or delete it entirely.
