This article explains how to invite a new user to your Admin portal and grant them access to one or more of your organisations.
Before you begin
You must have an Administrator role to invite users. The Invite User button is visible to all users, but if you do not have the required permissions you will see an access error when you click it. Contact your organisation's administrator if you need to be granted the correct role.
Steps
- Navigate to your Admin portal and click Users in the left-hand sidebar to open the Invite and Manage Users page.
- Click Invite User. The Invite Users panel opens on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Under Select Organisations, tick each organisation you want the new user to have access to. Use the filter box to search if you manage a large number of organisations.
- Under Select Role, choose the appropriate role from the dropdown.
Note: If the user already has a Codeweavers account, their existing role will be applied and this selection will not override it.
- Under Users to Invite, enter the user's email address in the Email field.
- To invite more than one user in a single invitation, click + Add user and enter each additional email address.
- Tick Receive Notifications if you want to be notified when the invitation is accepted.
- Click Invite to send the invitation.
The invited user will receive an email with a link to set up or access their account. They will appear in the user list once they have accepted the invitation.
Screenshots show example data. Your portal will look the same with your own organisation's users and settings.
Tips
- Inviting multiple users at once: Use + Add user to add up to ten email addresses in a single invitation. All recipients will receive the same role and organisation access.
- Assigning different roles: If you need to invite users with different roles, send separate invitations — one per role.
- Can't see a user after inviting? They may not have accepted their invitation yet. Check back after they have completed the sign-up steps in their email.
