Every user in the Codeweavers platform is assigned a role that controls what they can see and do. This article explains the two roles available to your organisation's users and how to request a role change.

Dealer User
Dealer User is the standard role for most of your team. Users with this role can work with quotes, orders, leads, and proposals across the platform, but cannot make any changes to your organisation's account settings or configuration.
Within the Admin portal, Dealer Users can view information but cannot edit organisation details, manage privacy policies, or invite new users.
Dealer Administrator
Dealer Administrator is intended for users who need to manage your organisation's account. In addition to everything a Dealer User can do, a Dealer Administrator can:
- Edit your organisation's details
- View and edit privacy policies
- Invite new users to the platform
Note: Clicking Invite User as a Dealer User will display an access error. Only Dealer Administrators can complete the invite process.
Changing a user's role
Role changes cannot be made self-service. To upgrade or downgrade an existing user's role, contact the Codeweavers support team at support@codeweavers.net with the user's name and the role you would like them to have.
